Hi, I’m Michelle.
I'm a Learning Experience Designer who specializes in scenario-based learning and AI-integrated design — and I do my best work when given the freedom to actually design.
With roots in education and programming, I bring something rare to the table: the instincts to know what learners need, and the technical depth to build something that delivers. No hand-holding required.
I'm here to solve real performance problems, build sharp, intelligent experiences, and move the needle on what your people can actually do. Give me the brief, the freedom, and the trust — and I'll show you what great learning looks like."
My Approach
See the whole picture first. Who are the learners? Where are they starting from? What actually needs to change? I map that before I touch a single design element.
Think like a learner, not an expert. I design for the person on the receiving end - their attention, their skepticism, their real constraints.
If it wouldn't hold my interest, it doesn't make the cut. Engagement isn't a feature you add at the end. I research deeply, find the angle that genuinely interests me, and design from there. That standard shows in the final product.
I speak fluent tech so your learners don't have to. The interactivity, the AI integration, the behind-the-scenes build — I handle all of it in a way that feels effortless on the learner's end.

FAQ
-
Potentially! I'm currently prioritizing full-time remote opportunities, but I'm open to freelance projects and collaborations on a case-by-case basis. If you think we'd be a good fit, I'd love to hear what you have in mind.
-
At this time I'm only considering fully remote positions. I do my best work when given autonomy and flexibility — and remote work lets me bring exactly that to every project.

My core toolkit includes Articulate Rise, Storyline 360, and I use Cloudflare and GitHub extensively for hosting code and AI integrations.
I'm also quite comfortable on the technical side — LMS administration, front-end development, and custom interactivity are all in my wheelhouse

Yes! I work with Vyond for animation and Camtasia for video editing and screen capture.
That said, I'm selective about when video actually serves the learner — not every concept needs it, and I'd much rather design something sharp and effective than default to video for its own sake.

Much of my professional work was developed for government and enterprise clients and isn't available for public display.
